ILLAMASQUA Sealing Gel and Pigment Review

Hey guys! I'm feeling super productive today so I decided to do another blog post :)
Another review I know, but ya know...I'm bored...

Illamasqua just recently became available in Slovenia and I nearly cried when I saw it. I saved up a bit (a lot!) and got myself a couple of things.
It's a really small review because their products are far to expensive for me to buy regularly.

So I'll only be reviewing the Illamasqua pure pigment in Fervent and their sealing gel.

The sealing gel is a mixing medium that you use with your pigments. It's a lot thinner than I expected. It turns the pigment into a sort of thin paste that you then ''paint'' on your eyelids, apply as liner or do anything else with it. I used it with multiple different pigments and it works beautifully. I did notice that when I applied more than two layers of the ''paste'' it started crumbling off...Sort of like nail polish chips off... So be careful with that, otherwise the product is simply amazing.

The pigment I decided to get is in the shade Fervent, it really stood out to me because it's kind of duochrome. It has a warm brown base with teal shimmer/glitter. It looks different in every light and with different bases underneath.

TOP: in direct daylight, first over NYX Blackbean jumbo pencil, then NYX Milk jumbo pencil, then on its own and lastly mixed with the sealing gel.

BOTTOM: in the shade, first over NYX Blackbean jumbo pencil, then NYX Milk jumbo pencil, then on its own and lastly mixed with the sealing gel.

I love using NYX Milk under it for a day look, it's so simple but looks like you spent hours doing your makeup.

Here's a close up with the different bases

MIDDLE: NYX Blackbean without flash and then with it

BOTTOM: Sealing gel in daylight and in the shade.

I'm really glad I bought these products, I rarely buy anything that expensive but I decided to treat myself a bit. The quality is amazing and definitely worth the price. I don't remember the price in euros, but on their website the pigment costs 16,5£ and the sealing gel is 7£ for one bottle - I got the duo pack which is no longer available.
