Lee Child - Killing Floor

Hey guys!

So I got sick and now I'm all better which means I get to put you through another blog post! I'm awful I know...

I looooove to read, I'm one of those people who keep saying that the book is better than the movie - while watching the movie in the cinema... Sorry

So I recently finished reading Killing Floor by Lee Child and thought I'd let you know what I thought about it.

I read the first few pages of this in school actually. I finished the test early (I wish it was because I knew all the answers) and my friend gave it to me to pass the time. When I gave it back I said that it's a Tom Cruise type of story and then felt soooooooo cool when he actually played Jack Reacher in the film based on the 8th book in the series.

However this is the first book and I get how all of them are bestsellers. I believe there are 17 or 18 books currently in the series and he just keeps on writing (for which I'm very grateful!).

So basically Jack Reacher get's of a bus at a random town, is accused of murder, proves he didn't do it, finds a dead body of someone he knows very well (I won't spoil it for you) and ends up exposing some seriously bad stuff going on in that town.
It's beautifully written and sucks you in after the first page. The story gets more complex and interesting with every chapter and well basically you need to read it! Like, now...go out and buy it!

I got it at www.bookdepository.co.uk, it has 528 pages and I paid around 8€ for it + they offer free shipping worldwide which is always nice! :)

Anyway I loved this book and will probably read the rest of them. If you love thrillers and action packed stories this one may just be perfect.
