Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hey guys!

I posted a review of the Makeup Revolution Awesome Eye Metals a while back and promised that there were many reviews to come.

And I always keep my promises! (Tangled quote biyatch!)

So get ready, take a seat and hold on to your hats! 'Cause there's a Naked 3 dupe coming your way!

The first time I saw this palette I googled swatches to see if it really was a dupe because it looked soooooo similar and damn straight, I found about 9 photos comparing swatches of the two. Naturally it went straight into my basket!

Here's the palette up close and personal.

All of the shades are neutral pinks, even the dark shadows at the end all have purple or pink undertones. There are 3 matte shades in the palette and 9 shimmery ones.

As you can see all of the colors are really pigmented, the second one is a bit chunky and glittery but still looks gorgeous if applied with a damp brush.

Shade 1 is a matte off white.

Shade 2 is a very light pink, with quite a bit of glitter.

Shade 3 is a super smooth shimmery light pink.

Shade 4 is a matte medium pink - can you say ''perfect transition shade''?!?!?

Shade 5 is a medium shimmery pink.

Shade 6 is an orange coppery gold. Very shimmery.

Shade 7 is a matte dark pink.

Shade 8 is a muted, shimmery dark pink.

Shade 9 is a dark golden-brown.

Shade 10 is a shimmery taupe with purple undertones.

Shade 11 is a dark grey with purple undertones.

Shade 12 is a matte black with red and pink glitter.

All of the shades, apart from shade 2 are very nicely pigmented and blend well. I would like to see a bit more color payoff from shade 1 but it's not bad. Shade 10 is probably one of my favorite ones in the palette, it's really unique and it kills me that that doesn't show up in the photo.

I would be completely comfortable with taking only this palette with me anywhere I went. You can create a soft matte daytime look with it or a dark sultry smoky eye if you so desired. Shade 6 is great for a pop of color.
The only problem here is the fall out. There really is quite a bit of it and I actually steer away from this palette if I'm in a hurry, because it really makes a mess of my face and I don't like wasting time on that. A bit of fall out is okay - needing to clean my entire face after I'm done with my eyes is not okay.

I would however recommend this palette, despite the fallout. The shades are beautiful and pigmented and it only costs £4. It's available here. However, if you live in Slovenia you can purchase it here.
