AVON Stone Taupes Palette Review

Hey guys!

As you know I love Avon so I thought I'd do another palette review :)
Sorry I've been gone for a while again. I started watching Breaking Bad... 'nuff said.

As with all of the Avon palettes you get 4 eyeshadows, ranging from matte to shimmery finishes. You also get a dual-ended sponge-tip applicator (which I throw away instantly, because I cannot use them for the life of me).

This is a very cool toned, everyday palette with some gorgeous greyish shades. It's definitely very wearable so it's great for anyone who doesn't like too much drama on their face :P

Shade 1 is a creamy white matte shade.

Shade 2 is a shimmery champagne with a bit of pink.

Shade 3 is a satin finish light grey taupe.

Shade 4 is a darker satin finish taupe and can be built up to look quite dark.

Overall I think this is a great everyday palette for a simple work or school makeup look. It's very easy to use and all of the shades blend nicely. The pigmentation isn't the best, especially compared to other Avon palettes, however if you're going for a soft daytime look that may work for you.

Here's a look I created using this palette.

I started off using my Avon eyeshadow base and then applied shade 2 all over my lid. I blended shade 3 in and above my crease and darkened up my outer corner with shade 4. I used Makeup Geek Corrupt along my upper and lower lash-line, and then blended out my bottom lash-line with shade 3. I curled my lashes, applied my L'oreal Butterfly Wings Waterproof mascara and highlighted my inner corner and brow-bone with shade 1.
