Hey guys!

So I decided to take some time off in December, because it's the busiest month of the year where I work and I had to keep up with school as well, but I'm back on track and blogging like crazy!

And what better way to make a come back than with my 2014 favorites??!??!?

I have a loooot to talk about so let's get to it ;)

The Melvita cleansing oil has been pretty much all I've used to remove my makeup all year round. It melts everything off and doesn't leave an oily residue on your skin when you wash it off. You can read the whole post about it here.
Dr. Scheller jojoba and schisandra soothing intensive serum has been a life saver. I have no idea why but my skin has been getting increasingly more sensitive and dryer, which is strange because it never used to be. It's very light, it absorbs quickly and it really soothes my skin. There's a full post dedicated to it coming soon ;)
The Yves Rocher cold weather balm enriched with shea was a last minute purchase because I needed to spend 2€ more to get a free micellar water and this was next to the register. However it's one of the best hand creams I have ever used. It doesn't make my hands greasy which is awesome and it sooths my skin nicely.
The Labello lip butter with vanilla and macadamia is a great over-night balm, it nourishes my lips and get's them ready for the day, however my Burt's bees honey lip balm is still my all time favorite. You can read my post about it here.
I've been really trying to clean my brushes more often and I love using the Dr Bronner Almond Magic Soap. It gets out every little bit of pigment and it's very gentle.

For days when I had practically no time to get ready I loved using the Bourjois CC cream and the CC eye cream. They're labeled as CC products however they give a great coverage and moisturize my skin as well. I set them with the Catrice All Matt plus pressed powder which doesn't add too much color, but mattifies my skin and makes my foundation last as long as possible.
For the days when I want a much fuller coverage I use my EsteƩ Lauder Double Wear foundation. It gives an absolutely full coverage but it's still lightweight and looks natural. For bronzer I've been loving the Essence matte bronzing powder, however it's been discontinued (sorryyyyy). The Essence soo glow! cream to powder highlighter is still available though and one of the best ones I've ever used. I love applying it with my fingers.

I haven't really been playing around with lip colors this year, I've mostly been using my Catrice Pure Shine Color Lip Balms, because they're easy to apply and very moisturizing. You can read my full blog post here.
For the days that I wanted a bit more color I mostly reached for the Catrice Long-lasting lipsticks. They have a great shade range and they're really comfortable on the lips.
However if I was feeling particularly glamorous that day I'd wear red lips (and I'm trying to do that more often because it makes me feel great!!). I aaaaaaalways use my Artdeco Soft Lipliner waterproof in number 8 or 11 under my lipstick because that's the only way I feel confident that it's not gonna smudge or fade. On top of that I love using my Avon Extra Lasting lipstick in eternal flame and my recently purchased L'oreal Color Riche lipstick in Laetitia's red (it's part of the pure reds collection). You can read my blog post about red lips here.

2014 has definitely been an eyeshadow year for me. I bought my first high-end products and discovered some amazing drugstore ones. My first high-end palette was the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes which I had to force myself to stop using! You can read more about it here. I also purchased the Catrice Absolute Matte eyeshadow palette and loved it (full post here). The Makeup Revolution Flawless eyeshadow palette has probably been the find of the year. 32 eyeshadows and every single one of them is amazing. You can see all the swatches here.
As far as primers go I've still been obsessed with the Urban Decay Primer Potion, but what really surprised me was the Zoeva Matte Eyeshadow Fix. It made all of my eyeshadows seem even more vibrant and they didn't budge at all! As a base for a smokey eye I've still been loving the Maybelline 24hr Tattoo in Permanent taupe, but as far as single eyeshadows go, I found myself reaching for the L'oreal infallible eyeshadow in Bronze Goddess. It's a gorgeous bronze with a green undertone, very unique and outstandingly beautiful.
My favorite mascara has definitely been the L'oreal butterfly wings and the eyeliner I loved was the Catrice Liquid Eyeliner.

I hope you guys had a wonderful year and that 2015 is even better. I got kinda cheesy and made some resolutions, let me know if you'd like to know more about them so you can make me keep them from a change ;)!
