SPOTLIGHT SUNDAY: Redken Hair Cleansing Cream

Hey guys!!

I'm really excited about tonight's #spotlightsunday!!

So basically I was taking a shower, and thinking about how much I love my Redken Hair Cleansing Cream, I texted my friend about it and then it hit me...I should write a blog post and let all of you know!!

For those of you who haven't heard of cleansing shampoos before, here's the difference:
it's basically a shampoo on steroids. It cleans your hair twice as well and it get's rid of all of the built up products in your hair (hairsprays, dry shampoos, gels, oils...), but it also removes all of the natural oils in your hair so I ALWAYS use a very intense hair mask on my roots after using this.

The one I use is from Redken and it's amazing. It says on the bottle to alternate it with your regular shampoo but honestly I just use it every Sunday, to get rid of the stuff that built up in my hair during the week.
It doesn't dry my hair out as much as I thought it would and it doesn't cause any damage at all. It also says that in cases of excessive build-up you should leave it on for 10 minutes. I only did that the first time I used it, because it was my first time ever using a clarifying shampoo and it worked wonders.
I was afraid that it would effect my hair color (I dye my hair) and it didn't change it one bit. I was also afraid it would dry out my scalp and didn't do that either.
I seem to be afraid of a lot of things....

I remember meeting my friend that night (it was summer so my hair was still slightly damp when I went outside, but my roots had completely dried) and the first thing she said was: ''wow, your hair!!''

I have really thick hair and it's very easily weighed down (seriously, as soon as my hair gets a tiny bit greasy it gets so heavy my scalp hurts), however after I used this, my head felt a hundred times lighter. I use this every. single. Sunday. without exception (some people go to church, I wash my hair) and for the rest of the week I use my TIGI Bed Head Color Goddess shampoo.

Both of them are available on the feelunique website.
