Cauliflower Purée Recipe

Hey guys!!

As I mentioned in my first Weight-loss update, I once went carb free for a month and felt much better, so I decided to give it another go.
I've been looking for way to replace stuff like pasta, potatoes, bread and this recipe is by far my favorite way to do that!!

Cauliflower purée !

Here's what you're gonna need!
- Cauliflower (as much as you'd like)
- Salt
- Powdered onion
- Powdered garlic
- A blender (I used a stick blender, but a regular one, or a food processor, will do just fine)

The first thing you need to do is break apart the cauliflower into little flourettes and put them into boiling water.
Oh and don't forget to clean it first!

After you've done that you can leave it in there for around 10 minutes. You'll know it's done when you stab it with a fork and it crumbles a bit - which is a very complicated way to tell you to cook them until they're soft.
I used that time to cook some chicken breast.
All I did was rub some coconut oil, powdered onion and garlic and some paprika into the meat and then put it in a non-stick pan, on a medium heat (ours goes up to 9, so I put it on 7) and it was done around the same time as my purée.

After your cauliflower is soft you can drain it and put it in a bowl if you're using a stick blender (the one you see below came with it) or chuck it into your blender/food processor.

I added a tiny bit of salt and then some powdered onion and garlic to taste (you can skip that if you don't like it). You can also add some butter to make it more creamy, but I am trying to lose weight so ya know....

After you've added all of your desired spices and herbs you can just blend it all up. (I soooooo wanted to write ''sugar, spice and everything nice'' .... yes I am 21 years old...).

Aaaaaaaaand you're done. Super quick and easy, healthy and you know that you can do it, because I did it all by myself (seriously, I didn't call my mom once!) and I'm a cooking hazard!!

Let me know if you try this out and if you liked it!
