CATRICE Nude Illusion Foundation Review

Hey guys!!

As I've told you (complained to you) a hundred times, it's around 36°C in Slovenia, so I dread putting on makeup in the morning. The feeling of it on my skin makes me incredibly uncomfortable, so I've decided to put all of my foundations to the test and see which one feels the most comfortable!

Today I'll be talking about the Catrice Nude Illusion Foundation.

Let's talk packaging.

It comes in a matte glass bottle, WITH A PUMP and you get 30ml (1oz) of product, which is the standard size for foundations.
It's available in only 4 shades and a 5th one (025 nude sand) in selected countries.

I currently use the shade 030 Nude Beige, which is just a tad dark for me (but it's summer so it'll be fine eventually).

The texture is very light and liquid-y and I find that it looks best if you apply it with a damp sponge.
It gives a light to medium coverage and the finish is more luminous than matte (the claim on the bottle is that it provides a luminous matte finish which is completely contradictory). I would say that it's a nice satin finish.
It goes on smoothly and I never had any trouble blending it.

The lasting power isn't all that great and I had to touch it up a bit in the center of my face (but then again EsteƩ Lauder Double Wear is the only thing I don't have to touch up).
It didn't break me out and it's incredibly moisturizing.

As long as I apply it with a damp sponge I don't feel it on my face at all.
Average lasting power but I don't mind that it doesn't last as long, because I like to let my skin breathe as much as possible during summer.
Looks very natural and dewy.

Overall: 7/10
