Jojoba Oil

Hey guys!!

I remember talking to a couple of friends about different makeup removers and one of them said that she simply uses JOJOBA OIL to remove her eye makeup, so I decided to give it a go.

I bought the store brand one, because it's honestly just as good and I don't really feel like spending more money just so that the bottle has a ''fancy'' name on it.

It comes in a glass bottle, with a PUMP and you get 100ml in it for around 7€ (if I remember correctly).

I always use my Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil before I shower but there's some mascara and eyeliner left on my eyes every single time, so I have to use a separate makeup remover for it.
All of them seemed to make my eyes sting and would leave the skin around my eyes feeling tight and dry and here's where the jojoba oil comes in.

I pump a bit of it onto a cotton pad and use it to remove any makeup residue. It breaks it down really gently and removes every last bit of it.
I also like to run the cotton pad over my cheeks, where most of my redness occurs and after that I gently massage it into my skin (with clean hands) and leave it on over night.

The skin around my eyes in so much softer now and it definitely soothes the redness on my cheeks.

Here's my new and updated skincare routine:

1. Massage the Melvita cleansing oil onto dry skin and them massage it in again with wet hands.
2. Get in the shower and rinse the oil off.
3. Use the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub on my CadeaVera face brush (rinse it off of course - I do this in the shower as well)
4. Dry my face and remove any makeup residue with jojoba oil and apply it over my cheeks.
5. Apply Mixa moisturizer with 8% glycerine all over my face.

I hope you guys found this post helpful and let me know what your skincare routines are!!
