Spelt Bread Recipe

Hey guys!!

A couple of months ago I made my own bread for the very first time!
Here's the recipe I used.

(it's totally deformed but it was delicious!)


0,5kg of spelt flour (I used 0,25kg spelt flour and 0,25kg rye flour)
1 tsp of salt
2 tbs of olive oil
1 bag (20g) of cream of tartar (some kind of special baking powder)
0,5l of sparkling water

Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F)

Mix all of the dry ingredients first and then add the wet ingredients.
Put some baking paper inside a small loaf tin (I don't have one so I just used a glass thingy) and pour in the dough.

Bake for 1 hour and wrap it in a damp kitchen towel for 10min after it's baked (that way it won't crumble when you cut it).
You can also add a variety of seeds and nuts to the dough (I left mine plain).
