I'm reviewing another mascara for you guys and today it's the Catrice Glam & Doll Volume Waterproof mascara.
I've seen a couple of bloggers rave about this and decided to put it to the test myself.
Catrice is one of my favorite drugstore brands, because their prices are ridiculously low, especially considering the quality of their products.
But I've tried two of their mascaras so far and I gave them both away, because neither worked for me. I saw a couple of really great review of this one and it was on sale for 30% off, so I figured I'd give it a go.
The brush is synthetic and cone shaped.
I always get the waterproof version because I find that my lashes hold their curl a lot longer that way and it generally doesn't smudge.
I was really surprised by this when I first applied it. It added a lot of volume but it didn't clump my lashes together.
Throughout the day I noticed that my lashes stayed curled for quite some time, but they did srop slightly towards the end of the day.
It flaked off a tiny bit, but nothing too noticeable.
The main problem I have with this mascara is how hard it is to remove. I generally use waterproof mascara and they all come off easily with my Melvita cleansing oil, but this one doesn't. I always have to use a separate eye makeup remover after I've taken off everything else, which is slightly annoying.
Considering the price is only 4,29€ I have to say that I'm very impressed by it.
Have you guys tried any new mascaras lately? Let me know in the comments! x
