ESSENCE All About Nudes Palette Review

Hey guys!!

It's been so long since I blogged and I'm definitely in my happy place right now!
I haven't written anything since November 2015 and I promise I have the best reasons for my absence, but more about that in another post!

Let's get our Essence on!!

This is the second All About palette that Essence came out with and it's full of warm, soft brown shades (bleh, right?).

I fell in love with this the moment I laid eyes on it and I knew I had to have it!
Because I don't own a single nude, natural, brown eyeshadow...yeah...

Anyway, the shade that really caught my eye is the very last shade in the bottom row and sadly it was the one that disappointed me the most. It seems like the most gorgeous taupe shade, but sadly it doesn't apply as well as I hoped it would.

Here's a close up of the shades and all of the swatches.

TOP ROW
1 - satin off-white
2 - satin warm nude
3 - satin medium brown
4 - shimmery dark brown

BOTTOM ROW
5 - shimmery beige
6 - satin nude
7 - satin light taupe
8 - shimmery taupe with fine glitter

I love every shade in here, apart from shade 8, as I mentioned before. It swatches beautifully, but when I tried applying it with a brush it didn't really show up that well, even after several layers.
The other shades are absolutely stunning and they apply and blend incredibly well.

This would be perfect for anyone who likes a very soft, natural look, however I did manage to create a pretty smokey look, using shade 4 all over the lid and blending it out with shades 3 and 4. I then added some liner along the lash line and BAM!!

It costs 4,39€ which comes down to 0,55€ per eyeshadow and you don't need me to tell you to go buy this as soon as possible!!

Have you tried any of these palettes? Let me know what you thought!!

    1. Thank you Emma!
I agree, the quality is incredible, they could definitely raise their prices and it would still be worth the money! :)
